DOWNTOWN TOURING THE CZECH REPUBLIK AND GERMANY
From the 21st to 25th of February DOWNTOWN plays concerts in Prague, Munich, Frydlant and Ismaning.
A homage to the big city: whether glamorous nightlife, bustling streets, places steeped in history or romantic cafes. The lifestyle in the metropolises of our world offers material for stories about passion, dreams and nostalgia.
A case for a charismatic storyteller: Kilian Sladek is one of the few and at the same time most versatile singers of his generation. Firmly rooted in the tradition of jazz and its related genres, he joins the ranks of singers like Tony Bennett, Al Jarreau or Kurt Elling.
His congenial partner on the keys is the new face of the Czech jazz scene: Daniel Bulatkin. In their program they interpret the whole range of music – iconic pop songs, timeless jazz standards and their own songs. Together with their top-class partners Marek Urbánek on drums and Max Makagonov on bass, they bring the cosmopolitan attitude to life on stage in the guise of contemporary jazz.
